About Me

David Baker’s interest in photography began when he bought his first camera, a 3 million pixel Sony digital camera. Snapping anything and everything at first, it wasn’t long before he out grew the cameras capabilities. This was at the early stages of the Digital Revolution, and whilst he toyed with trading the digital camera for film, he realised that the way forward was digital.

As you will see from David’s images he loves the outdoors and travel. He strives to capture the landscape in magical light that is cast as the sun starts to fall and rise. This, he believes, is the world is at it’s best.

Living on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, a World Heritage Site, David is fortunate enough to be able to photograph one of the UK’s areas of outstanding natural beauty, and whilst he can often be found standing in the dark next to his tripod on one of Dorset’s beaches or on the edge of one the many cliffs, his travels take him to other parts of the UK such as Cornwall, East Anglia and the Lake District and he simply can’t resist the rolling hills of Tuscany and mountains of Umbria in Italy.
