Sturminster Newton Mill, Dorset

I’ve had several early mornings stood on the bank at Sturminster Mill the past few months but just haven’t had the conditions, they almost fell in to place yesterday morning. A good sky behind the mill, mist hanging on the pond, water lilies, and bright green foilage all perfect, sadly the sun was stuck behind a combination of cloud and mist and didn’t hit the mill, I’m happy enough with this one though and will just keep returning for the right conditions.

The image below was taken about 30 minutes earlier the with the camera pointing in the opposite direction, it really was a misty dawn!
