BP have been producing oil from Kimmeridge Bay since 1959 and if you visit its hard not to notice the oil pump known as the ‘Nodding Donkey’, the presence of oil is evident at Kimmeridge as you can see from this image, the rocks are jet black and shiny, you can often smell the oil in the air.

  2. I like how the boulders lead the eye out to the headland and the tower. Great foreground and thee mono conversion is superb.
