The location is The Cobb , Lyme Regis, Dorset, England, UK and is almost as far West as you can go on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast before you hit Devon. The Cobb became famous when it stared alongside Meryl Streep and Jeremy Irons on the silver screen, appearing in The French Lieutenant’s Woman.

Its almost as if The Cobb was made for photographers, the curve of the wall sweeping past the distant hills, including Golden Cap the highest point on the South West Coast, before taking you out to sea.

  1. Ah, you make it look so good, David. I was there on a grey day and it looked so dull without Meryl on it!
